1953

Hello, world. State Fair Foods is founded in Dallas by Circle T Foods Co., part of Southland Corp. Circle T produces corn dogs for 7-11 stores and people eat ‘em up. Texas gets really hungry. Circle T relocates to a larger facility in Dallas.

1980

Fire destroyed the Circle T production facilities, but the company wasn’t done cooking. Plant is rebuilt in south Dallas, starting with one automatic and two hand-dipped fryers.

1986

Sara Lee Corporation purchases Circle T Foods to share corn dog goodness with the nation.

1989

The name was changed to State Fair Foods and a new era of fun begins. Facility “featured attractions” are improved by expanding the automation of fryers and capacity.

1999

More corn dogs, please! State Fair® Brand converts a potato chip plant in Haltom City into a new facility to meet demand.

2005

Big flavor comes in small packages. The State Fair® Mini Corn Dogs debut.

2009

State Fair® Corn Dogs dip into the digital world with a fun, new interactive website.
